Sindh Labour and Human Resources Minister said the judgment of the Election Commission of Pakistan in the Foreign Funding Case had proved that former prime minister Imran Khan had received funds from Israel and India.

Talking to media persons here at the Sindh Assembly building on Tuesday, the Sindh Labour Minister said that Imran Khan had conspired against the Pakistan army and had also committed the mockery of the entire nation.

He demanded that the federal government should immediately constitute a joint investigation team to further probe the foreign funding affairs of the PTI. He said the ECP’s judgment had proved the allegations of financial irregularities against the PTI.

Ghani said that Imran Khan being head of his political party had submitted a false declaration as he should be disqualified from contesting the elections in the light of the judgments of the apex judiciary.

He said that after the ECP’s verdict Imran Khan was proven a liar who had received unlawful funding from the Jews and Indians.

The Sindh Labour Minister said that due investigation should be conducted to determine the reasons why Israeli and Indians had been funding a Pakistani political party.

He said the PTI had unlawfully received funding from several countries as 50 per cent of these donations had been originally meant for Shaukat Khanum Hospital.

He said that Imran Khan was involved in the brazen theft of Zakat and donations meant for good charitable causes. He said that charitable donations had been misused by the PTI Chairman for political causes.

Ghani also told media persons that the loss of precious lives of Pakistani army soldiers in the helicopter crash in Balochistan was a national tragedy. He said that martyred Corps Commander Quetta and other officers onboard the ill-fated helicopter had been supervising the relief activities for the flood-affected people in Balochistan.
