Heavy rains trigger flash floods in Amarnath cave area

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, heavy rains in the Amarnath cave area triggered flash floods on Tuesday, forcing the occupation authorities to suspend the Hindu pilgrimage. Officials said that 4,000 Yatris were evacuated to safety.

Police officials told the media that heavy rains occurred in Amarnath cave area on Tuesday afternoon. They said that the 4,000 Yatris were shifted to safe places.—KMS
