Islamabad Capital territory police have arrested 10 accused involved in various crimes from different areas of the city and recovered stolen car, drugs and weapons from their possession, a Police Public Relation officer said.
According to the details, ICT Police continued crackdown against criminal elements involved in illegal activities. During the crackdown Bhara Kahu police apprehended a bootlegger namely Faisal Arif and recovered 20 liter liquor from his possession. Likewise, Aabpara police team arrested two drug peddlers namely Muhammad Shehbaz and Jawad Ali and recovered 226 gram Ice from their possession. Women police arrested a lady drug pusher namely Hawa Gul and recovered 508 gram hashish from her possession.
Similarly, Margala and Karachi Company police teams arrested two accused namely Abdul Ghafar and Tubsam Masih for possessing illegal weapons and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. Lohi Bher police team arrested an accused namely Khan Sher and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Moreover, Shehzad town police team arrested two accused namely Shahzad Ali and Hassnain and recovered 1210 gram hashish and one 30 bore pistol from their possession. Shams Colony police arrested accused Arbab Javed and recovered a stolen car from his possession.
Cases have been registered against the nominated accused and further investigation is underway.
Islamabad Capital Territory police have accelerated its efforts against criminal elements in the city to curb the crime and to save the lives and property of the citizens. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with police and inform about any suspicious activity around them.
