District Governor Lions Club Arif Khawar Butt on Wednesday has said that providing help and guidance to the young generation, particularly the students, could be highly beneficial for the socio-economic progress of the country in future.
While addressing separate ceremonies to distribute warm uniforms and shoes in the needy students of Government Higher Secondary School No. 2 and Government Haq Girls Elementary School at Maharaja road, he further said that provision of the financial support to the students of the schools in the public sector was not the responsibility of government only.
He added that it was also a responsibility of every individual and institution in the society to play their role in assisting the needy students.
