Mayday, mayday: Please help me to breath
It is Billions of years before when earth came into existence; with complete harmony and biodiversity. The Sun serves as the primary energy source for Earth’s climate.
Some of the incoming sunlight is reflected directly back into space, especially by bright surfaces such as ice and clouds, and the rest is absorbed by the surface and the atmosphere.
Much of this absorbed solar energy is re-emitted as heat (long wave or infrared radiation). The atmosphere in turn absorbs and re-radiates heat, some of which escapes to space.
Any disturbance to this balance of incoming and outgoing energy will affect the climate. Since 1900, although the record shows several pauses and accelerations in the increasing trend, each of the last four decades has been warmer than any other decade in the instrumental record since 1850.
since the mid-20th century to the human expansion of the “greenhouse effect” warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space.
95% probability that human-produced greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide have caused much of the observed increase in Earth’s temperature over the past 50-plus years
Finally, although rising CO2 can stimulate plant growth, also reduce the nutritional value of most food crops by reducing the concentrations of protein and essential minerals in most plant species.
Climate change can cause new patterns of pests and diseases to emerge, affecting plants, animals and humans, and posing new risks for food security, food safety and human health.
Climate extremes, such as droughts, floods and extreme temperature, can lead to crop losses and threaten the livelihood of agricultural producers and the food security of communities worldwide.
Depending on the crop and ecosystem, weeds, pests and fungi can also thrive under warmer temperature, wetter climates and increased CO2 levels, and climate change is likely to increase weeds and pests. Aloe Vera.
Whenever a list of plants with benefits is made, Aloe Vera tops the charts always, Peepal, Snake plant, Areca Palm, Neem, Orchids, Gerbera (orange), Christmas cactus, Tulsi and money plant.
We may need to convert mega plants to smaller units in different zones and run on solar energy; Renewable energy sources such as Solar energy from the sun, Wind energy, Geothermal from the heat inside the earth, Hydropower from flowing water, Ocean energy in the form of wave, tidal, current energy and ocean thermal energy.
This will also provide a better living to natives. Biomass from plants:The climate change is only possible when community engagement and measures to keep environmental health are brought in practice in true letter & sprit this will protect from heat wave as well.
A Heat Wave is a period of abnormally high temperature, more than the normal maximum temperature.
Wear appropriate clothing: choose lightweight, light-coloured, loose-fitting clothing. Stay cool indoor: stay in an air-conditioned place as much as you can.
Drink an enormous amount of water during a heatwave. Keep your home cool, use curtains, shutters or sunshades and open windows at night.
Heat wave Symptoms may include diarrhea, headache, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, tachycardia, malaise and myalgia.
Definitive therapy includes removing patients from the heat and replenishing their fluids and avoid the heat for several days.
The environmental health is in critical situation and being human, community knowledge, attitude and practices must be reinforced (Initiating from school level) to improve Quality adjusted healthy years of earth. Early innovative and smart idea of recycling and upcycling are need of the time.
