Three-match Test series between Pakistan Veterans Club and Oman Masters Veterans Hockey Team has started.
Pakistan Beat Oman in a thrilling match by two goals to one, and took a 1-0 lead in the series, Olympian Kamran Ashraf scored in the 9th minute and Olympian Sameer Hussain scored in the 41st minute for the winning team.
Oman’s lone goal was scored by Atta Hassan in the 20th minute of the match. The Cheif guest of the match, Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon inaugurated the series. On this occasion, while talking to the media, he said that the Oman team is welcome in Karachi. matches are also being held in Karachi which is welcome. He was very happy to see the hockey legends of the past together he said that he is sure that the team of Pakistan Veterans Club will be able to win the series. Commissioner Karachi said that we are striving for the promotion of national sport.
