Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Friday said he had warned the “neutrals” well in advance of the major economic dent the country was going to suffer if the conspiracy against his government succeeded adding his opponents wanted to eliminate him through treason cases.
My opponents, who have been imposed upon the country through an international conspiracy, are planning to get rid of me by filing a treason case against me. Khan told a mammoth public rally in Buner district.
The PTI chairman said the enemies didn’t want to see Pakistan flourish and prosper saying India, Israel and the US had hatched the conspiracy against his government and imposed their stooges to weaken Pakistan. He said ample proof of the sad episode was that celebratory moments were witnessed in Indian electronic media and newspapers after the ouster of the PTI government in Pakistan.
“They are talking about the treason trial against Imran Khan. They want to get rid of me through a treason case. Top federal government officials deliberated over going ahead with filing treason charges against me and the chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, respectively, over PTI’s May 25 Azadi March during a special committee meeting of the cabinet”. Imran said.
Will people like Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif who, plundered the national wealth mercilessly and owing huge assets abroad, will file treason case against me”? Imran questioned adding he will never surrender before any superpower or the “imported government.”
He said that the Sharif family always has strong ties with the business community of India. “Indian Prime Minister Narendra Moodi is the person who is involved in atrocities against Muslims but he had been invited by Nawaz Sharif at a wedding ceremony.” Imran said and maintained that the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif never talked about Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav just to appease India.
Imran Khan said he wanted to ask something from the ‘neutrals’ that being apolitical is a good thing but national security is also important. “I had warned them about a major economic dent if the conspiracy succeeds against my government”. Former Premier said adding he had always given the examples of the Soviet Union and the United States (US) having the strongest military powers. The Soviet Union had fallen just after the economic collapse.”
Khan reiterated his allegation that Shehbaz Sharif-led government was preparing to rig the upcoming elections and fixing the match with the nexus of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
“They are filing fake cases to spread fear among the nationals with the nexus of police forces for bulldozing the opposition. I am sure that they will not win the elections as the nation will always remember them as traitors and thieves. I want to give a message to the nation that we have to fight for real independence.” Khan Maintained.
