The police arrested eight outlaws, recovered weapons, kites, other valuables during separate actions here, police said on Friday. Following the directions of DGI (Operations), the Shahdara police conducted separate actions against outlaws in its jurisdiction. The police arrested three accused over display of arms, recovered illegal weapons and impounded a pickup with tinted glasses.
Three kite flyers including Amjad, Asad and Bilal were arrested during a raid and several kites were recovered from their possession.
The police arrested two culprits Arif and Ali Raza involved in robberies, street crimes and bike lifting incidents. On the other hand CM has taken notice of the murder of father of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Naveed Ali Arain, and sought a report from the IGP police.
The CM has ordered for bringing the accused to task immediately and termed it a test case for the police.
The requirements of justice would be fulfilled and those involved in the crime would be brought to book at any cost, he added and expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the murder.
