Sawan Khaskheli Badin
0.4 million children under the age of five will be vaccinated against polio in district Badin during seven days long vaccination drive to be commenced from May 23, 2022.
These views were expressed by Agha Shahnawaz Khan, Deputy Commissioner Badin while chairing meeting of District Polio Eradication Committee (DPEC) on discussion over NEAP mechanism, EPI, AFP surveillance, resources, trainings, micro plan, field validation and last campaign issues on Saturday at DC campus office Badin.
The meeting was attended by large number of Govt officials including Najeeb Jamali, ADC-I, Dr. Sher Muhammad Nohrio, DHO Badin, Dr. Mumtaz Ali Chandio, DDHO Badin, Muhammad Saleh Korejo, DEO Education, Dr. Abdullah Jat, Sohail Rathor, DHCSO Badin, Sawan Khaskheli, LHDP, Din Muhammad Dero, SWD and others.
Agha Shahnawaz Khan maintained that people of Badin must deal with childhood immunization to prevent children from the fatal disease adding that around 0.4 million children of district would be given Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV).
