Exchange rate of Pak Rupee strengthened by 42 paisas against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs185.62 against the previous day’s closing of Rs186.04.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 186 and Rs 187.25 respectively. The price of Euro also depreciated by Rs 1.90 and closed at Rs198.35 against the previous day’s closing of Rs199.69.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.45, whereas a decrease of Rs 2.67 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 236.18 as compared to its last closing of Rs 237.09.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 12 paisas to close at Rs 50.53 and Rs 49.48 respectively.—APP
