Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent Islamophobic incidents in Sweden and the Netherlands involving desecration of Holy Quran and hatred against the Muslims and Islam.
The incidents have invited condemnation not only from the Foreign Office but also religious circles as well as the common public as they have seen them as direct attack on their religious values, faith and principles.
FO Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad in a statement said Pakistan strongly condemned the recent abhorrent act of desecration of the Holy Quran during rallies in Sweden.
