Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Q is just a party of few districts of Punjab.

Addressing Overseas Convention, Asad Umar said that Pakistan Muslim League-N has support in areas around GT Road while Pakistan People’s Party is limited to interior Sindh.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf got most votes in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa compared to other parties, he added.

The minister also claimed that government will defeat opposition’s no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan and emerge victorious. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that the government is going nowhere and the no-confidence motion and conspiracy against Pakistan will fail. The prime minister barred party leaders from giving statements regarding coalition partners.

According to sources, Imran Khan said that the issues related to the allies will be looked at with mutual understanding, adding that neither the government is going anywhere nor the allies. “Not even the no-confidence motion but the conspiracy against Pakistan will be foiled,” he added.
