The police arrested seven gamblers besides recovering thousands of rupees stake money and gambling tools here on Sunday.

Following the directions of DPO Muhammad Zafar Buzdar, SHO City B-Division along with his team raided gambling den behind Noor Cinema in Bahawalnagar.

During operation, seven accused of gambling on cards were arrested besides recovery of Rs12,600 stake money and gambling tools.

The police after registering a case against the nabbed gamblers at B-Division police station have started investigation.
