Commenting on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to the nation Monday evening, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said his address would only be a waste of time.
In a tweet, she wondered how would that man take the nation into confidence in whom the nation had least confidence? “It is my pray to The Almighty Allah that may this address to the nation proves to be his last one so that the people could get rid of massive price hike, unemployment and constant mental torture because of that,” she said, and urged PM Imran to apologize to the people for making false promises to them and levelling baseless allegations against his political opponents.
Marriyum was of the view that the prime minister had reached ‘point of no return’ now. “He cannot reduce inflation, build five million homes, provide 10 million jobs, and fulfil his vow not to go the IMF,” she opined.—INP
