Security forces on Wednesday killed at least 10 terrorists including a commander during an operation in Balochistan’s Hoshab, the military said in a statement. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted after the information on the presence of the terrorists in a camp in Hoshab.
“Security forces conducted an operation to apprehend externally sponsored enemies of peace in Balochistan. Once the troops started cordoning the area, terrorists tried to flee their hideout and opened indiscriminate fire whereby, a heavy exchange of fire ensued,” it added.
The ISPR said that 10 terrorists including commander Master Asif alias Mukesh was killed in the exchange of fire. “These terrorists were involved in recent firing and attack on security forces incidents in Turbat and Pasni areas,” it added. In addition, according to the statement, a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered which was planned for use against security forces. The ISPR further said that the operations to eliminate perpetrators of terrorist acts will continue and they will not be allowed to sabotage peace, stability and progress of Balochistan.
