Sources in the interim govern-ment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that a delega-tion headed by Qalandar Ebad-acting Health Minister- to leave Kabul to the UK.
The Afghan delegation is be-lieved to discuss hu-manitarian issues along with other rele-vant matters.
This is the first time that a Taliban delegation visits Lon-don after they recaptured power in Afghanistan last year.
News regarding the visit to London comes a day after a high-level delegation led by acting FM Amir Khan Motaqi arrived in Doha on Sunday evening, February 13, 2022. Amir Khan Motaqi’s delega-tion is said to be meet-ing with Doha-based European and Gulf countries’ diplomats. Earlier, another Taliban dele-gation visited Geneva and dis-cussed the humanitarian situa-tion of Af-ghanistan with Red Cross and European diplomats.— KHAAMA PRESS
