Revenue staff suspended for illegal practices

The revenue staff including sub Registrars, Settlement Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Registry Moharrars were suspended by the provincial Revenue & Estate department for the reason best known to the competent authority and were directed to report Director Land Records Peshawar. However sources revealed that most of the revenue staff were reportedly involved in illegal practices.

According to office order No. LR-IV/ Settlement /T & P/ 219-28 issued by Deputy Director Land Records Khyber pakhtunkwa, Khalid Javed Ghazi sub Registrar Abbottabad, Abid Hussain Sub Registrar Mansehra and Shoukat Hussain Shah Settlement Tehsildar Mansehra were suspended with immediate effect and were directed to report chief settlement officer, Director land records Peshawar. Interestingly no reason o their suspension or transfer were mentioned in the office order. The office order which copies have been circulated to all concerned including Assistant to Commissioner (Rev/GA) Hazara division with reference to the letter No. Estb.3/2/5969-71 dated 26.1.2022 and in continuation of another letter dated 28.1.2022.
