The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee appreciated by 40 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 176.22 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.62. According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 177.2 and Rs 178.8 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro was depreciated by 08 paisas and closed at Rs 200.26 against the previous day’s closing of 200.34. The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.52, whereas an increase of 01 paisa was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 240.16 as compared to its last closing of Rs 240.15.—APP
