Punjab University on Tuesday awarded PhD degrees to five scholars in different subjects after approval of their thesis.
According to details, Ayesha Siddiqua D/o Noor Ahmad was awarded PhD degree in the subject of Environmental Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Evaluation of Environmental Toxicity and Potential Threats Along River Chenab Using Water and Soil Quality Index’, Iqra Aroob D/o Muhammad Ramzan in the subject of Biological Sciences (Specialization in Biochemistry) after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Characterization and Applications of Recombinant Cyclomaltodextrinase from Geobacillus Thermopakistaniensis’, Ammara Khan D/o Ghulam Ali Khan in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of her thesis entitled ‘System of Islamic Laws (Huddod-o-Tazeerat) in Modern Islamic State and Islamic Tradition: An Analytical Study’, Muhammad Atif Khalil S/o Khalil Ur Rehman Bhatti in the subject of Education after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Transformational Leadership Style of Head Teachers and Academic Optimism of Public Secondary Schools in Punjab’ and Muhammad Saeed Ahmad S/o Fazal Ur Rahman was awarded PhD degree in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Archaeological Evidence in Selected Exegetic Literature’.
