At least three people were killed and 22 others injured in separate fog related road accidents in different areas of Sheikhupura on Monday.
According to details, due to poor visibility caused by dense fog, a Lahore bound passenger bus coming Faisalabad bumped into a cement laden truck, parked by road at Nankana Sahib Bypass Chowk near Manawala area in Sheikhupura. As a result of collision, two passengers were killed on the spot while 18 others were injured.
In another accident, a private ambulance shifting a man injured in Sialkot firing to Lahore collided with a truck due to dense fog near Kala Khatai Interchange.
