The police recovered Rs 2,200,000 of an old woman from the culprits and handed over to the owner.
Shumaila Bibi, a widow of a retired deceased employee Muhammad Saeed Qazi, was given gratuity amount of her husband by the government. Her nephew Abdul Jabbar with the help of his friend Munir Ahmad fraudulently debited the amount from the bank account of the woman.
The Capital City Police Officer Lahore Additional IG Fayyaz Ahmad Dev directed officers after listening to the woman.
SSP Discipline Ejaz Rashid, within eight days, recovered the amount from the culprits.
