Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch has said that Jamaat-e-Islami wants to remove all kinds of injustice, oppression, extremism from the country and to create an Islamic and prosperous Pakistan by eliminating discrimination and prejudice.
Liaqat Baloch addressing the condolence reference of late Jamaat-e-Islami leader Malik Ayub and public breakfast function at Ichhra, Lahore said, “Our goal is to make Pakistan a truly free, dignified, stable country by overcoming the status quo, the supremacy of the Establishment and due to the incompetence of the political democratic forces and interest based, lack of national unity, good governance and deteriorating sovereignty, it wants to uplift the socio-economic system and eliminate the supremacy of global colonial institutions and powers as well as the inequality in society and the hegemony of the elites.”
“We also want to eliminate undue waivers and privileges for the elite class and promote self-reliance and reliance on one’s own resources, to eliminate interest-based system and to implement the economic system of Islam,” he added.
