An effigy of the BJP government and the delimita-tion commission was set ablaze by Jummu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) during a protest against Modi-led Indian government.
JKNPP chairman and former minister Harsh Dev Singh addressing protesters in Jammu said, “The BJP government is colluding with the delimi-tation commission in delaying and denying Assem-bly elections in Jammu and Kashmir to satiate its vested political interests.”
He warned the BJP gov-ernment of “dire consequences” in case the Jammu was divested of its “legitimate” political rights.—KMS
