The Modi-led fascist Indian government may soon ban All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) as an “unlawful organisation’ under the black law, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian newspaper, ‘Times of India’, quoting sources in the Indian agencies, said that the Indian Home Ministry will take a final call in the coming days on proscrib-ing all factions of APHC and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir on their political and diplo-matic struggle for the right to self-determination.

The Modi regime and its notorious agency, Na-tional Investigation Agency (NIA), had earlier sub-mitted reports to the Home Ministry to build a case for listing Hurriyat as an ‘unlawful organisation’, a source said to Times of India.

“Hurriyat and all its factions will have to dis-mantle their offices and infrastructure, once the ban is imposed. Also, all the boycott calls and protest calendars, once a mainstay of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat that has faded into oblivion post-abrogation of Arti-cle 370, will become illegal,” the officer told media men.

The Modi-led fascist Indian government had earlier banned the JKLF and Jamaat e Islami in the occupied territory.

The Hurriyat Conference was founded in 1993 with several political, social and religious parties struggling for the political solution of the Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions.—KMS
