The CAA has completed its preparations at Lahore and other airports regarding the international audit. The ICAO team’s visit to Pakistan was of great significance as far as the resumption of Pakistani flights to Europe were concerned.

The ICAO team will examine the operational systems at Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad airports.

The ICAO team, to be led by Junian Nie, will also audit the pilot licensing system.
Air navigation, aircraft operations, airworthiness of planes, aerodromes airspace, AIB and other departments are also on the radar of the visiting team.
