Iraqi Businessmen show keen interest to invest in Pakistan

Iraqi Businessman showed keen interest to invest on large bases in different sectors of trade and industry here in Pakistan.

Qurban Ali and Mirza Abdul Rehman showed their full support on behalf of FPCCI in this regard. Secretary to Iraqi Ambassador Miss Afnan and President Gilgit Baltistan Woman Chamber Miss Alvina Mujeeb were also present in the meeting.

Mr. Qurban Ali head FPCCI Capital office and Mirza Abdul Rehman coordinator FPCCI held meeting with the prominent businessman from Iraq/Syira Mr. Abdul Qadir Abdul Razzaq Suleman Al Kubaik during their visit to FPCCI Capital office Islamabad.

Mr. Qurban Ali said, it is said to discuss over here that trade between Pakistan and Iraq have a very low volume of 26 million Dollars which is very minimum in volume.

I had meeting with H.E Ambassador of Iraq many times and discussed to have result oriented work for enhancement of trade and investment mutually as both Islamic countries have very rich cultural history and brotherly relationship.

And it is the need of time for exchange of business relationship on these grounds for long terms. Cotton , Fiber , Tourism, and Fabric are main sectors in which investment can be enhanced. Head FPCCI Mr. Qurban Ali added here.

Mirza Abdul Rehman Coordinator FPCCI welcome the leading business man from Iraq/Syria for his visit to FPCCI, and wish that both Pakistan and Iraq will soon practically enhance trade volume, FPCCI will support Iraq in this concern.

International politics have badly influence the industry and production sector of Iraq due to which production level of Iraq is still very low, and Pakistan is ready to help Iraq in this matter. FPCCI will provide help to our brotherly investors from Iraq to invest and do trade in medicine and medical instrument sector as well.
