Leaders of the constituents of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement (JKFM) have expressed concern over the rapidly deteriorating situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and activists.
The leaders, including Mustafa Mohammad Hussain Khateeb, Mehmood Akhtar Qureshi, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar, Mohammad Lateef Lone, Mohammad Ashfaq Barwal and Ammar Aamir Gandanaat at meeting in Islamabad stressed the need for establishment of lasting peace and harmony in the occupied territory.
They also condemned attacks of BJP and other Hindu extremist organizations on Kashmiri students in various colleges and universities of India for supporting Pakistan in T20 World Cup.
They appealed to the United Nations and Organization of Islamic Cooperation to stop India from registering false cases against innocent Kashmiri youth.
The JKFM leaders from Rajouri, Poonch, Jammu, Kishtwar and Reasi also participated via telephone in the meeting chaired by Mustafa Muhammad Hussain Khateeb.—KMS
