The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore is likely to be replaced from his office over, “what sources said,” failing to stop religious party workers from marching towards Islamabad.

Well-placed sources in the Punjab Police said that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has finalized the interview of three senior officials in this regard.

According to details, the Punjab Chief Minister has decided to take action against CCPO for failing to stop the religious organization activists from marching toward Islamabad.

He interviewed three officers for the most important post of CCPO Lahore. Additional IG Operations Punjab Shehzad Sultan, Additional IG investigations Fayaz Dev and Additional IG Establishment Ali Amir Malik have been interviewed.

It may be recalled that the Prime Minister was very angry with the Punjab Police for not stopping the march of the religious organization and it was decided to take action against the senior officers of Lahore Police.
