Says need development and prosperity instead of chaos and instability

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday declared that the people of DG Khan have rejected the defeated elements of the PDM alliance.

“Holding a small meeting, herded into a blind alley, confirms the weak political position of the opposition parties.”

The chief minister said that the masses have also noticed the abrupt getting together of the unnatural alliance on a small road.

The PDM was unable to manage as many people as are parties in the alliance, he stated. People’s disinterest shows that they need development and prosperity instead of chaos and instability.

The PDM has lost its residual credibility by indulging in negative political agenda and this proves that it has no future, concluded the CM.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that after the flopped DG Khan show, the so-called politics of the PDM alliance has ended for good.

Usman Buzdar said the opposition could only raise hollow slogans as it is unable to materialize things or deliver to the masses.

The rejected elements have no political future; he maintained adding that disappointment is visible on their faces.

The 220 million people have full confidence in the leadership of PM Imran Khan and we are all united under him, he maintained.

The anarchists should realize facts, as these elements were trying to interrupt the development journey which will not end and the critics, will remain disappointed, concluded the CM.

The chief minister reiterated that development is the fundamental right of the people living in south Punjab districts and pointed out that another commitment was fulfilled by giving administrative autonomy to the south Punjab secretariat. The cabinet has also passed the south Punjab secretariat’s rules of business, he stated.

While regretting that past governments befooled south Punjab’s inhabitants with hollow slogans by using its budget on projects of choice, he said south Punjab was badly ignored in the past and funds were spent on other projects by imposing cut on south Punjab budget.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has congratulated the newly-elected Chairman Pakistan Broadcasters Association Mian Amir Mahmood and other office-bearers.

The CM also congratulated newly elected vice-chairman Salman Iqbal, Vice-chairman Mir Ibrahim Rehman, Secretary-General Shakeel Masood, Joint Secretary Ahmed Zubairi and Finance Secretary Athar Qazi on their election.

Usman Buzdar also congratulated the newly elected directors of Pakistan Broadcasters Association Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Ghulam Nabi Maurai and Mohsin Naqvi.

CM while expressing good wishes for the newly-elected body of Pakistan Broadcasting Association said that Pakistan’s media industry had rapidly made progress and the role of media was of key importance in the current situation.

He hoped that the newly elected officials of Pakistan Broadcasters Association would continue to play their full role in solving the problems of the media industry.
