PDM DG Khan meeting a flop show like past: SACM Says rejected elements can no more hoodwink wise masses

Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minster and Spokesperson to Punjab Government Hassan Khawar on Sunday said that like past, the PDM meeting in DG Khan will be a flop show as the masses are well-aware of the ideology and objective of the torch-bearer of negative politics.

“The rejected elements are trying to improve their political status but they should know that the people will give the looters and plunderers a chance anymore.”

In a statement issued here on Sunday, the SACM said that pindal set up on the road of DG Khan has more chairs than people, adding that People of DG Khan love PM Imran Khan and CM Usman Buzdar.

He said that there are rotten eggs in PDM’s basket. He further stated that Chacha and Bhateeji are not on the same page ever neither they will be.

“Maulana Fazl has always planned to use others shoulder but he should remember he will receive the same treatment from the Shehbaz Sharif which he got from Bilawal Zardari.” Hassan Khawar said that these elements cannot hoodwink the people anymore with their negative propaganda.

“The claimer of Do and Die have met their logical end”, he regretted and added that this gang of looters are nothing in front of politics of honesty, loyalty and transparency.

Meanwhile, a one-day farmers convention titled: “Production Campaign for Wheat” organized by Punjab Agriculture Department, MNS Agricultural University Multan and Fatima Fertilizer Group was held at the Sports Ground of Agriculture University.

The chief guests of Wheat Field Day and Farmers Convention were Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhr Imam, Punjab Minister for Agriculture Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi and Vice-Chancellor University Prof Dr. Asif Ali.

Addressing the Farmers Convention, Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhr Imam said that the total element of the national economy is the farmers as agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan.

He said that new price of wheat would be fixed soon which would increase the profit of farmers.

He further said that track and trace system of certified seeds would help in increasing the yield of crops.

Addressing the participants of the farmers’ convention, Punjab Agriculture Minister Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi said that wheat is the most important component of our diet.

Increasing the production capacity of wheat to meet the food requirements is the need of time.

The steps taken by the present government in this regard are commendable. Like last year, we expect a good harvest this year through which will fulfill our dream of self-sufficiency in food requirements.

The Punjab Agriculture Minister said that the Punjab government was providing subsidy facility and incentives to the farmers under the national plan to increase the production of wheat.

Due to the farmer-friendly policies of the government and the hard work of the farmers, last year’s wheat crop was cultivated on 16.4 million acres in Punjab province and for the first time in history, the production was 29 million metric tonnes.

This year, the target for wheat cultivation in Punjab has been set at 16.7 million acres while the production target has been set at 22 million metric tonnes.

The provincial agriculture minister said that under the prime minister national agricultural emergency program of Rs300 billion subsidized varieties of wheat seeds and other agricultural inputs are being provided to the farmers to increase wheat production per acre at a cost of R 12.59 billion.
