In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) continued its violent raids across the territory.
The NIA raided the house of a civilian, Amir Ahmad, in Lasjan area of Srinagar.
It continued raids on the leaders, members, supporters and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and other pro-freedom people in Islamabad, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Badgam, Doda, Kishtwar and Jammu districts.
Meanwhile, Indian police during house raids and cordon and search operations arrested four youth in Mendhar and Kishtwar areas of Jammu region for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement.
On the other hand, Indian troops continued their cordon and search operations on 19th consecutive day, today, in different areas of Poonch and Rajouri districts. The operation was launched on October 11.—KMS
