LWMC takes measures to ensure cleanliness

The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is taking all possible measures to ensure cleanliness in the provincial capital.

In this regard, LWMC has set up service delivery camps in 3 major towns of the city on the instructions of CEO LWMC.

These camps will remain active 24 hours to address the complaints of citizens. In order to review the arrangements, LWMC CEO Rafia Haider visited Gulberg Service Delivery Camp and directed to install more machinery in hotspot areas of Gulberg Town, Samanabad Town and Nishtar Town.

Rafia Haider stated that 71 vehicles are engaged in Gulberg operation and 860 workers are stationed throughout Gulberg Town, with additional 40 workers working in second shift, In Samanabad Town, 1064 workers are engaged in cleaning operation, 93 vehicles are active on Zero West campaign Whereas in Nishtar Town, 794 workers are performing their duties in the cleaning operation.
