PML-N, PPP candidates for NA-133 by-poll

The PML-N has fielded Shaista Pervaiz Malik, widow of former PML-N Lahore president Pervaiz Malik, for NA-133 by-poll to be held on Dec 5.

The PML-N has decided to give ticket to Shaista Pervaiz Malik in NA-133 by-election. The seat fell vacant last week after the death of Malik. Currently, Shaista Pervaiz is an MNA on a reserved seat for women.

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party has also announced a candidate for the NA-133 by-election in Lahore, days after PTI nominated Jamshed Iqbal Cheema.

PPP leader and former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf made the announcement saying that Chaudhry Aslam Gill would be the party candidate from the constituency.
