America-Pakistan Business Dev Forum’s visit to US to strengthen bilateral ties

America-Pakistan Business Development Forum has conducted a successful visit of United States of America (USA) to explore more avenues for strengthening bilateral trade, cultural and political ties.

The delegation of forum held fruitful discussions with heads of trade, political, cultural, social and other organizations, President of Forum Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain stated after a successful visit to USA.

The trade delegation visited various cities of USA including New York, Washington DC, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin and Chicago.

Delegation was comprised of Naveed Essa, Zeeshan Altaf Lohia, Syed Nasir Wajahat , Abdul Karim Adhia, Asim Mohammadi and Ghias Ahmed Ahamdani.

During the visit delegation held meetings with the heads of various cultural, social, trade and others organization of USA and pondered over the ways to improve the bilateral relations in various sectors.

Delegation also appraised the business community in USA about the investment potential in various sectors of economy in Pakistan.

Members of delegation also visited Pakistan Embassy in special invitation of Pakistan Embassy and had meeting with Pakistan Ambassador to USA Dr. Asad Majeed Khan.

On this occasion, Pakistan Ambassador emphasized upon exporting 4000 duty free goods to USA, which he noted would improve in the economy of Pakistan and promote Pakistan products throughout the world.

Members of delegation also participated IFA Franchise Expo in Javits Center, Manhattan, New York City with the collaboration of USA Commercial Service.

State representative of Texas and Active member Ron Reynolds also invited members of delegation and assured his full cooperation to the delegation and appreciated the efforts of forum for concrete business and social relations between USA and Pakistan.

Members of delegation also paid a visit to Governor House in Georgia State Capital and attended a high level meeting.

Members of delegation held interactive session with Senator Nan Grogan Orrock and others Delegations also held meeting with Former Advisor of US President George Bush and Barrack Obama on immigration policy and Ex-President American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Charles C.

Foster as well as with USA citizens of Pakistani origins Constable Nabeel Sheikh and Deputy Constable Sharaf Hashmi.
Members appreciated the services of Pakistani community in USA.

Members of delegation also paid a visit to New York City Police Statement Department on the invitation of Captain Commanding Officer Adeel Rana.

Deputy Chief Headquarter New York Police Department Nasir Salim presented a soveniour to members of delegation.

Besides, Headquarter Fort Bend County Texas, comprising of 1900 police personnel Sheriff Eric Fagan and Deputy Sheriff

Hashim Hashim Ahmadani arranged a dinner in the honour of delegation and Country Judge K.P. George presented “certificates of appreciation” to members of delegation and exchanged views on bilateral relations.

Pakistan American Business & Professional Association (PABPA) , Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA), NED Alumni Association acted as a host for the delegation’s visit to USA whereas Anwar Qasmi and All Neighbours International Association also hosted a dinner in the honour of delegation.
