SuperNova school in collaboration with EdPrograms hosted US college Fair, “ EdTour Fall 2019” in SuperNova School. Directors/Assistant Directors/Officers of International Admissions/Outreach/Recruitment
Departments of 12 American universities took part in the Fair. Event began with a meeting of university representatives with the Board of Directors of SuperNova School and the college admissions counselling team.
University Representatives counselled students one-to-one or in small groups about studying in USA, admission process, entry requirements, scholarships, campus life, etc. Students visited the desks of different universities of their choices and asked questions about the applications, financial aid, university setting, availability of Halal food, Muslim community on campus and in the city, Pakistani community on Campus, on-campus and off-campus work opportunities, etc.
Head of Counselling, SuperNova School Mr. Navid Sultan said “such Fairs play a vital role in creating awareness among high school students as they begin applying to Universities so that they could take informed decisions”. He further added’ “Director EdPrograms, Mr. Umair Khan is vibrant in bringing International Admissions officers and High School Counsellors under single roof”. He thanked the organisers and the American visitors for all the hard work they put in to make such events positively.
