The University of Gujrat (UoG) syndicate has approved a budget of Rs3116.22 million for the financial year 2021-22 as it met here at Hafiz Hayat Campus on Thursday.
The syndicate approval for UoG budget came in its 43rd meeting which was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Shabbar Atiq. The agenda of the meeting included various proposals for further improvement of the varsity’s various departments, both teaching and administration.
The members deliberated over them all and gave their approval. They lauded the progress and development of the varsity made under the leadership of the vice chancellor.
The meeting was attended by the syndicate member Samira Elahi, Members of Provincial Assembly Muhammad Abdullah Warraich and Khadija Umar, Safia Javed Chaudhry, Vice Chancellor UET Taxila Prof. Dr Muhammad Inayat Khan, Deputy Secretary Punjab Higher Education Department Mr Abdul Rauf, representative of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) Dr Riaz-ul-Haq Tariq.
