To discuss the national strategy for Covid-19 vaccine production in Pakistan, WHO Pakistan conducted a meeting with Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination and National Vaccine Manufactures at Islamabad.
WHO Representative Pakistan, Dr Palitha Mahipala and Chief Executive Officer, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, Mr Asim Rauf chaired the meeting. During the meeting, Dr Mahipala reaffirmed WHO support to the DRAP for vaccine production.
Mr Asim Rauf thanked Dr Mahipala and appreciated the WHO technical and financial support for the development of national strategy on vaccination production in the country.
