Annual Ghusal ceremony of Data Darbar held

The Ghusal ceremony of 978th Annual Urs of great saint Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hajwary (RA) was performed at his shrine in Data Darbar on Wednesday.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar along with ministers and officers gave a bathe to the shrine with rose water.

According to details, the 978th annual Ghusal of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hajwary started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which the Naat reciters offered devotional offerings at the shrine of the saint.

On the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar and devotees prayed for the country’s development, prosperity, stability and peace.

Special prayers were also offered for the liberation of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The event was curtailed due to the alarming situation of coronavirus. Only those with a vaccination certificate were allowed to enter the Darbar Mosque. Mazar-e-Sharif was bathed with rose water.
