In order to upgrade living standard of the people, the Punjab government is executing 27 development schemes with the cost of Rs.6971 million under Annual Development Programme in the district Hafizabad.
This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner, Hafizabad, Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan while presiding over the meeting of District Coordination Committee Hafizabad, today.
Member National Assembly, Choudhary Shoukat Ali Bhatti, DPO Rana Masoom Ahmad, ex-District Nazim Hafizabad, Choudhary Mubasher Abbas Bhatti, Deputy Director Development, Hafiz Mubasher-ul-Hassan and other officers attended the meeting.
DC said that the Punjab government was releasing record funds for completing different development schemes in the district Hafizabad for ensuring provision of educational, health, sports and municipal services to the masses at their doorsteps.
Deputy Director Development Hafiz Mubasher-ul-Hassan informed the meeting that construction work on 30 development schemes with the cost of Rs.300 million under Community Development Programme, 201 schemes of Local Government worth Rs.533m.
