Imran completes interviews for next AJK PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday completed interviews for the next Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Barrister Sultan, Khawaja Farooq, Tanveer Ilyas and Azhar Sadiq had separate meetings with the prime minister.

Sources said that PM Imran Khan questioned the candidates about their vision for tourism, hydropower, minerals, health, education and development works. All four candidates shared their priorities for Azad Kashmir.

Talking to media, Barrister Sultan Mahmood said that there was no number game and everyone is united, adding that Imran Khan has the right to make decisions.

On the other hand, Chaudhry Tanveer Illyas said that consultation is underway in the party on special seats, adding that decision for Speaker, Deputy Speaker and other posts is yet to be made. He said they will fulfill the responsibilities given to him by the party chairman.

Meanwhile, Khawaja Farooq said that consultation with the party chairman was held on various issues and special seats. He said that there is a need to work on tourism and other sectors in AJK.
