In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed his deep concern over the plight of illegally detained APHC leaders and activists, languishing in different jails of the territory and India.
The APHC Assistant Secretary General, Kha-waja Firdous Wani, in a press release issued in Sri-nagar said that in the wake of devastating Covid pandemic, the jails being over crowded, it has be-come impossible for the inmates to keep social dis-tancing and to follow other SOP’s and hygienic standards.
The non-availability of proper medical care has made the lives of the detainees vulnerable to many diseases, he said.—KMS
