A 13-year-old girl was raped by her uncle and was, later, stabbed after she disclosed the incident to his family.
According to the FIR registered by the girl’s father, the teenage survivor was immediately rushed to a hospital where doctors termed her condition out of danger. The victim, however, has lost one of her eyes. T
he man told the police that when his daughter informed her family about the crime, her uncles and grandfather stabbed her and threw into in a river to hide their crime.
The police claimed that the prime suspect, survivor’s uncles, and grandfather have been arrested.
“They have confessed to the crime during questionning,” the investigating officer informed. A case under sections of attempted murder and rape has been registered.
