Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Rehana Laghari visited a one-day medical camp set up to treat the patients of skin disease of village Urs Temro held under the aegis of Hajani Welfare Organization in collaboration with Institute of Skin Disease and Personal Hygiene Karachi, Young Doctors Association, and philanthropists of local Ismaili community here on Sunday.
While talking to this correspondent on the occasion Rehaana Laghari said that the disease spread rapidly due to lack of awareness and unhygienic conditions they were living in.
She further said that as cleanliness is an indispensable fundamental of our Faith, Ulemas should highlight the importance of health and hygiene during Friday sermons.
Holding responsible to the District Health Department for the spread of the disease She said that the PPP Government aimed at providing quality healthcare across the Province but in Sujawal the health department was working completely contradictory to the vision of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and CM Sindh adding the scheme of NICVD unit for the people of coastal region was under consideration.
She eulogized the Hajani Welfare Trust for providing quality Health Facilities in the rural areas of the coastal district and also applauded the team of doctors for rendering their selfless services.
