PBM offers scholarships to 100 GCUF students

Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar has said Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal will provide scholarships to 100 deserving students of the Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF).

He was addressing a ceremony held to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the GCUF, here on Friday.

Chairman Standing Committee on Finance Faizullah Kamoka, Vice-Chancellor GCUF Prof Dr Shahid Kamal, Chairman Saylani Welfare Trust Maulana Bashir Ahmed Farooqi, Project Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Islamabad Qasim Zafar and others were present.

GCUF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Kamal said that the needy students were being provided financial support from an endowment fund by the university.

He said that for the second time, an MoU had been signed with Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal for provision of scholarships to 100 students.
