All set for 5th National Mango Festival

M.N.S Agricultural University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asif Ali presided over a meeting held in connection with the 5th National Mango Festival at DHA Multan.

The National Mango Festival will be held from July 8 to 10th. The meeting finalized arrangements for the Mango Festival.

The meeting was also attended by BZU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mansoor Akbar Kundi, Director DHA Col (retd) Anwaar Tarar, MNS University of Agriculture Multan faculty members and representative of Mango Growers Association Rana Asif Hayat Tipu.

Prof Dr Asif Ali said that Mango Festival is being jointly organized by the MNS University of Agriculture, DHA Multan, Mango Research Institute Multan and Bahauddin Zakaria University Multan in which mango growers from all four provinces will participate.

We will showcase the mangoes of our region and 40 different types of mango stalls will be set up.
The Mango Festival will also feature various mango eating competitions for children.
