Prime Minister Imran Khan met Chairman FBR Shabbbar Zaidi and Chairman NADRA Usman Yousaf Mobin on Friday to discuss the steps needed to increase the tax net in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Imran said that in order to provide better facilities to the people, it is necessary to increase the tax net. “Increasing the tax net will reduce the burden of additional taxes on taxpayers”, he added.
Premier Khan said that it would ensure the provision of education, health and other facilities in remote areas. “Tax payment is a national duty”, he said adding that restoring confidence of the taxpayers is of paramount importance.
