The spokesman of Punjab government has strongly contradicted the news item aired on some TV channels regarding the use of Punjab CM’s helicopter by his PSO Haider Ali and his friends and termed it baseless and against the facts.

The spokesman denied the news and said that Haider Ali and his friends didn’t use the helicopter and there is no truth in this news. Friends of PSO neither use the CM’s helicopter to visit Faisalabad nor anywhere else.

The spokesman further clarified that PSO’s friends only took pictures with the helicopter and didn’t travel anywhere.

Spokesman further stated that only the Punjab Chief Minister has the authority to use helicopter.

Crew and staff can take helicopter flight during technical inspection, the spokesman added.

PSO has no authority to use helicopter and the complete record of the helicopter’s log book is maintained.

The spokesman further disclosed that the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has already directed a probe into the matter.

The spokesman further stated that the facts presented in the news regarding the use of CM’s helicopter were unfounded.
