In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam has said that Sikhs are part and parcel of Kashmiri society and no one will be allowed to disrespect their faith in the Valley.

Mufti Nasirul Islam while responding to the re-ports about marriages of two Sikh girls with two Muslim men told media in Srinagar, “First of all, there is no place for conversion by force in Islam.

Conversion to Islam has to be by one’s conviction and choice without any force or compulsion.” Mufti Nasir added that Sikhs are part and parcel of Kashmiri communit.—KMS
