Two minor children died of electrocution in Basti Babliana of Raiwind on Monday while their father has alleged step-mother of killing the children.
According to details, two children of Khurram Shehzad including six-year-old Abu Zar and five-year-old Aman Shehzadi were found dead inside their house.
The bodies were shifted to hospital where according to postmortem report, the two minor died of electrocution.
Aneela Bibi, the stepmother of the two children was found missing from the hose and Khurram Shehzad has alleged his second wife of killing two children by electrocuting them.
The police registered a case against the stepmother and started raids for her arrest.
Meanwhile, six persons including three women and a minor girl were injured in a road accident, police said. According to details, a speeding rickshaw and carry van collided near shoe factory at Muridke Road in Sheikhupura.
Six people including Faisal s/o Karam Din, Umer s/o Ishaq, Aktar Bibi w/o Ashiq, Zahra d/o Jaffar Hussain, Safia Bibi and Marryam Bibi w/o Jaffar Hussain were injured in the accident.
