Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Bilal Asghar Warraich’s disqualification petition has been fixed for hearing in the Lahore High Court.
Justice Ayesha A. Malik summoned the lawyers of the parties for a final discussion on June 29.
According to details, Justice Ayesha A. Malik will hear the petition of Asad Rasool on June 29.
On the order of the court, the Punjab University has submitted a report on the degree of Bilal Asghar Warraich.
In the application against Waraich, the election commission was also made party. It was stated that Bilal Asghar Warraich was elected from Gojra PP-118 on the seat of MPA.
Provincial Minister Bilal Asghar Warraich participated in the elections on the basis of a fake degree of graduation.
After which he did not qualify for the seat of Punjab Assembly.
Punjab University has declared the degree as fake in the light of the order of the Supreme Court.
In order to participate in the elections, a candidate must be eligible under Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
